Top Shows at New York Fashion Week

9 wonderful fashion days in New York

NYFW started with two big different shows Yeezy Season 4 and Tom Ford

Yeezy  Season 4 didn't go as planned, the fashion show was at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park on Roosevelt Island. it was delayed for more than an hour and models had to stand for hours in the heat, Some of the models eventually collapsed.

The music was atmosphere music, and the show features young girls of different body sizes and skin tones.


Some models experienced issues with footwear on the runway.
Kim, Kendall and Kylie attended the show, arriving late as well.

Sofia Richi walked the show, Teyana Taylor and Chanel Iman close the show.

Tom Ford
Tom Ford's return to New York runway scene for the first time in six years. and it was a See now, buy now Fall 2016 Collection at the Four Seasons Restaurant

the audience was Academy Award–winners, fashion editors, and supermodels.

highlights was Iman making her first public appearance since her husband's death in January. 

Gigi Hadid and Natasha Poly walked the show.

the collection included an incredible brown leather, grey wool, fur, Sequins, military and animal prints.

Male Models walked the show as well.




Victoria Beckham Spring 2017 - Ready to wear


This collection is just so much different than what we are used to see from the designer, usually her collection goes with her style, and I'm not sure how I feel about this, I do think it's more edgier, more colorful, the Orange, pepermint, lilac colors, the velvet and the silky patterns are definitely new and still looking great in the collection

Anniesa Hasibuan 

is an ambitious Indonesian fashion designer, started her brand in the early 2015, she is the first designer to present her collection with Hijab in New York Fashion Week.

she used cold different colors in her collection with many different patterns including velvet, she also accessorized some of the outfits and gave it more of a statement look, however most of those outfits are basically a statement outfit itself.

Gigi opened the show with one amazing sailor jacket that we drolled over, and awesome leather pants, gave us an idea on how to start wearing those neck scarfs on casual outings this fall.


Hailey Baldwin and Taylor Hill walked the show as well

the collection was a mix of a Biker, Military and a sailor kind of collection, patterns of Leather, wool and silk in the collection, as well as cotton over sized sweaters and over-all's, high thigh socks, 
the colors were mainly Tommy Hilfiger colors (Navy Blue/White/Red)





Closing out the week in an outrageous Marc Jacobs. 

Kendall Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Sara Sampaio, Adriana Lima and Irina Shayk all wear pastel-colored dreadlock wigs from Etsy. 

high-thigh socks were there as well but in a totally different collection than TommyXGigi.
there was a lot of different colors, Sequins, Silver, Military, and animal skin prints in the collection

Toronto International Film Festival was founded in 1976, the 41st Toronto International Film Festival was from 8th - 18th September.

The opening film was "The Magnificent Seven", where it was the closing Film for the 73rd Venice Film Festival, Check it out
